Warm air could mean ur AC system is undercharged or overcharged. Those are the 2 most common problems. U need to take ur vehicle to the certified AC technician. AC repair can get pretty expensive.

Heater does not blow hot air

It seems as if your water valve that is open to divert water from the water jacket to the heater core is not working. It also could be a blocked heater hose.

What type of transmission fluid does a 97 cougar xr7 v6 take?

Manual Transmission - uses Dextrin II or Mercian type fluid. A 85W/90 gear oil may be used with the T500 trannie in very warm climates or if gear/bearing noise is excessive.
