I lost one key and still have one at home but it seems to be unprogrammed it will not deactivate the alarm or lock and unlock the doors nor start the engine. How can I reprogram it?
The only way to fix this type of key is to take it to the dealership. no other shop or reatailer can fix this problem. It shouldnt cost a whole lot to get this done. good luck.

I have a 2004 Dodge Durango. When I got my car the dealer gave me 2 keys with the keyless entry on both. 1 worked the other did not. I tried replacing the battery on the one that didnt work and I tried reprogramming the key after but it never worked. The key worked, but not the keyless entry, so I just use it as a spare. One day a few weeks back I used my spare key to drive to the store. I turned the car on and it died after 2 seconds. I tried again, same thing, another try, same thing. After 6 attempts the car locked down. I got my orginal key and the car worked. I went to the store last night and when I left my main key did the same thing. Now my car is locked down and I have both of my keys, but neither of them work. What should I do?
