Salavage yard but if you dont mind wasting a couple bucks and know the general size you need just go to a part store and buy some that are around the size you need. You can take back the ones that did not fit. You can also go to a gm dealer and buy the correct ones as well.

SOURCE: i have 1994 saturn sl i found a motor mount on the

There is a dog bone mount at each end of the engine. If it is on the bottom of the engine, something is totally out of whack. The bottom mount is under the transmission and does not look like a dog bone. I am assuming you must be writing the about passenger side, where the serpentine belt is. Remove the right front wheel, put the car on jack stand and remove the plastic service panel behind the wheel. The bolt hole where the dog bone bolt goes will be evident, or there will be a broken bolt. If the dog bones have not ever been changed this would be a time to do that and maybe the belt tensioner too. The other one is under the battery tray, both are fairly easy to replace, assuming you do not bust a bolt off.

On a 1999 SL Saturn how many motor mounts and transmission mounts can be replaced

There are 3 mounts. top engine mount, which is the easiest to replace. The other two require a lift, tools and muscle.

A bad top engine mount causes vibrations on the font end and dash. The tools to replace a floor jack, wood block, sockets, replacement bolts and new mount.

Need to replace the starter on a 1994 Saturn SL. Can you talk me through how to go about it?

The only problem you have is getting to it. Otherwise it is a standard disconnect the battery, remove the wires, remove the mounting bolts, pull it out and reinstall in reverse order. In real life you will need a lift, and a poop load of universals and extensions. It sits between the engine and firewall and under the intake manifold. This is a twelve pack, a good friend, long skinny arms and fingers, and an afternoon.

Do i have to drop the motor to change the belt tensioner?

It may help unbolting the front motor mount and lowering the motor to get to the tensioner thru the wheel well. If it's the DOHC engine. Should be a 15mm bolt holding it to the timing cover.

Removing radio from saturn to install stero

The plastic surround cosmetic piece which goes around the radio and climmate controls just snaps out to the rear with some gentle pulling. There will be then exposed two small bolts on either side of the radio. Unscrew them and the radio pulls out, the antenna wire and plug for the wiring harness will have to be disconnected. Note you will have to have an adapter for your panasonic to plug it into the GM wiring socket. If you stroll over to ebay motors you can find these adapters and find many replacements in case you break the cosmetic piece when you remove it.

Front of the motor, low, in the fitting where the radiator hose goes into the motor; not the one on the drivers side. The fitting is rounded and is held on with two bolts.

1992 Saturn

You have to support the engine and remove the upper motor mount and power steering pump. Then remove the two bolts holding it on. You may be able to remove the tire and the splash shield and get to it from there.
