Sound like your idle air control valve is sticking since that is what controls your air mixture in idle position. it can be removed and cleaned but you may have to buy a new one. usually when its intermittent, cleaning and lubricating is the trick from my experience

could be an ignition wire in the steering column that's getting grounded out when you turn your steering wheel to the right . good luck
