Use a VIN decoder site, such as to tell if your specific vehicle has
this option installed - click the EQUIPMENT (tab), and then scroll down to the "Towing Preparation
If your vehicle is so equipped, the adapter plug will be under the rear bumper near the tow ball.

I have no idea, but if it dont, its not that hard to do it yourself. just buy the right plug you want and follow the directions. and a multimeter is handy too

If the trailer has electric brakes that are powered by a separate battery, you use a 4-pole to 5-pole adapter and connect the extra wire to the truck backup light circuit.

Heating and air conditioning just stopped working. No air. No sound. Dead. Looked at the fuses and they were all fine. 2006 Hummer H3

Iwould look blower motor resistor, that is the most common problem, if the fuses are good it must be the motor or the resistor and i would say the resistor, the resistor is what controls the speed of the blower, this is located on the heaterbox, if you follow the wires that plug into the blowermotor it will lead you to the resistor. good day.

Wiring colour for connecting trailer lights

Your best bet is to go to an auto parts store or dealer and see if they have an adapter for trailer lights. Most of the newer vehicles have adapters the just plug into the existing wiring harness and you don't need to worry about splicing things. Also on some vehicles hooking up directly to the wiring harness doesn't work too well because of the circuit not being able to support the extra voltage drop. The adapter usually have that taken care of.

I need to install a trailering plug for a camper that I tow. I'm trying to figure out if I can wire it myself? I drive a 2006 f150 pick up.

Go to the auto parts store ... they have or can order for you, a special plug that you insert into your existing wiring harness that will probably include the standard trailer plug. There is an outlet at the back of your truck for this add on.

I just rewired my 20'deckover trailer. I used good quality lcd's. I have the 7 and 4 pin plugs. everything works but the parking lights on both plugs. I have a 2006 f-150 extended cab. bought a test plug...

Did you check the fuse for the trailer tow adapter parking lamps ? This is a separate fuse from the truck's parking lamps.
Fuse #10 is the Trailer Tow parking lamps ( via the trailer tow parking lamp relay ) and this is the same fuse for the trailer tow reversing lamps ( via the trailer tow reversing lamp relay ).

If you did not get an owners manual with your truck ( purchased used ), you can download one from Ford :

Is it pre-wired to connect a trailer to the car

most trucks have this as an option. you can purchase a pigtail that plugs into the taillight connections plug. They sell them at the uhaul locations and some auto parts / trailer stores have them...they're all prewired for specific vehicles and very easy to connect.

Wiring diagram

If you are going from a 4 pin on your trailer to the 7 pin on the truck. You need to go to parts store or a department store (ex Wal Mart) and look in trailer section and find the adapter. Thats what I did. Also Remember if your lights don't work on trailer, check the plug to make sure its tight or check the fuse under your drivers side rear seat for that fuse box.
