Triton mn 2.5 diesel turbo engine how often should the oil be changed

modern diesels have a service interval of 12 months or 20k miles
I never believe that an engine oil will last that long as all of the additives get neutralized making the oil useless
Stick to 10k miles or less in extreme conditions and at least every 6 months
Heavy truck diesels are capable of going 30k miles but they don't stop running where as smaller car diesels and light truck suffer constany stops and starts there by cooling down and heating up which is not a good operating environment for an engine
oil and filters are a cheap maintenance mechanic so more often is better than less often

A 94 toyota camrey that had engine rebuild in 2013 and sat a while. there is a oil leak only when the car is running and is coming from the passenger side. Any insight would be greatly appreceated

Clean the engine off really thoroughly. Then monitor it closely looking for the leak as you drive over the next day or so. Oil usually leaks from the valve cover gasket or front main seal on that side of the engine.

My 2000 Ford XLT Expedition has 145745.6 miles on it. How many miles more before the engine goes out . Like how many miles does it go up to before I should put a new engine in it.

It varies, some have went out before then, others have went more than 200k. Keep up on routine maintenance and take care of it, should last quite a few more years. I'd recommend on taking it to a shop and getting a plenum service and a total engine flush. That'd help quite substantial. Hope that can help you.

Why does my subaru sounds like a diesel wen I starts it

I assume your Subaru is older, or has quite a few miles on it. Subaru Boxer Engines tend to develop noise we refer to as "Piston Slap". As the engine develops wear in the cylinders, the cylinders become out-of round. Because the cylinder is no longer within very tight tolerances, the piston, when it reaches top dead center, will "Slap" the opposing cylinder wall as it makes it way back down the bore. This is common among high mileage or older Subaru engines, and it usually will go away very quickly as the engine warms up. If that is the case, you don't have anything to worry about. I have seen Subaru Boxer Motors with significant slap with 300000 miles on them that run just fine once they warm up. If the noise does not go away when warm, you may have a more serious problem.

Performance of 100,000 miles

we have one salesman that we service his tahoe
we did install new brakes and a fuel filter along with all the oil changes and tires.
we did have one scare was he had a auto start installed and the truck had to towed in here but the place that installed the auto start caused the problem.
the last oil change we did was at 122000 miles

im sure he will run it to 250000 or 300000 miles
