This is perfectly normal for all vehicles with climate control and A/C. They are designed to let the moisture escape, which is made when warm air cools and condenses moisture on the cold A/C components. Hope this helps...

SOURCE: How do I unclog the

If you get underneath the car, you will see the drain tube sticking out...or from the firewall.....get a long piece of wire like a coathanger, straighten it out and work it badck and forth up the tube....this will dislodge any obstruction....make sure that it is also still attached at the ac evaporator unti...follw the tube coming into the vehicle and wher it is joined at the unti....make sure it is still firmly in position and hasnt been kicked accidentally off.......also and as an after thought, check the integrity of the rubber line, as I have had 2 instances where rats have eaten the line.....???......i dont think this is the case with your car, but you never know.......

Good luck, and I hope this helps.

My water levels are fine. why does my 2001 eclipse get water inside only on the drivers side, its not antifreeze.

The AC condensate (water/condensation coming off the cold evaporator core) drain is plugged. The drain hole is located inside the AC blower motor housing and drains out at the base of the engine bulkhead on the passenger side under the vehicle.

My Citroen Zara Picasso has started to emit a smell like hot water no change in coolant level and no leaks inside the car

If it wasn't a coolant smell, just water. It could be the A/C condensation drain. Very possible that water could drain on the exhaust.

Central vent block

The vents are clogged.
you will need to check both drain tubes to make sure they are clear.the Evaporator drain tubes the condenser does not have drain tubes. They exit the vehicle underneath the vehicle along side the transmission. They are a black rubber tube, you will need to get under the vehicle to access them.If you have no water coming out of those drains that is your problem. On top of the transmission tunnel inside the vehicle. If you look along the transmission tunnel inside the vehicle you will see the carpeted section that can be removed which is held in place by a screw. Remove this carpet on both side and you should be able to see the evaporator drains.Because the tubes are not draining the water the housing will fill up with water until it finds a point were it can leak out from.Underneath you will not see the clogging you do not need to replace them for clogging. The best way is to check the drain tubes were they connect to the housing. Yes it can be a common problem if your cabin filter has not been changed at the times that are required or if you live in an area were there are a lot of trees.

There is dealer service bulletin on such problem:
If this leakage happens when it is not raining ... and ... it does not smell like engine coolant (a sweet maple-like smell) ... AND .... you are running the air conditioning, this may be condensation drain-off from the A/C evaporator. This condensation is supposed to drain through the bottom of the heater/AC box and then through the floor (at the top of the transmission tunnel hump), to the ground. This is the puddle of water that you see under a car when the air conditioning is running.
If the drains in your heater/AC box are clogged (or the tubes connecting the drains to the chassis floor), the condensation will gather and then leak out onto the floor. The cure is to clear the drain tubes. If all of the above points fit your scenario, of course, this is under warranty. I would suggest that you ask what the dealer has already done (in detail) and note that you still have the leakage and the the drains are likely still clogged (again, if the above parameters fit your case).

2004 stratus a/c condensation is seeping under the floor front passenger side

There should be a drain that allows the condensation to drain outside of the vehicle. Either the drain is clogged and causing the water to back up inside the plenum or your plenum has a crack in it and allowing the condensation to leak out the crack before it can be carried out of the drain. I suppose the drain line could be disconnected from the plenum also.

Iam getting rain in my 2003 HSE why.

And where exactly is this rain coming from? The sun roof? The door seals? Seeping in down in the footwells (soggy carpet)?

Sometimes "rain" can be mistaken for A/C condensate that is not draining due to a plugged condensate drain. If your A/C is running and it's hot and humid out then you should see some water drips on the ground underneath the front area of the vehicle. Let it sit in one location for a few minutes after you come in from driving it. Let it sit for a few minutes with the engine and A/C running. Move the vehicle and look for the telltale wet spots from the condensate drain. If you don't see a wet spot then chances are the drain is plugged. The condensate will back up and drain inside the car ...typically in the passenger footwell and making the carpet wet.

check that this is no a/c condensate from the ac unit inside the car. The condensate formed by the cooling action of the air inside the car drains out a hose on one side about the wheel area

Where is the AC Condenser on a 2002 Dodge Dangero? The Condenser has a Hole in it

the condenser is between the drivers and passenger side under the dash. I am assuming that water is draining onto the passengers side? if it is I would try to see if the drain is plugged, as that is easier to fix then pulling apart the inside of the vehicle. Good Luck Tim

When the air conditioner is running the floor on the drivers side gets wet. It is not the drain line, we have had that checked.

I can't think of much else that could be wrong. What is happening here is that water condensates inside the vehicle which is entirely normal during operation. There should be a tray below the exchanger inside the vehicle that collects the condensation - maybe that is broken / not fixed in place?

Where does the condensation drain

Normally, it drains from a tube in the engine compartment onto the ground. On some vehicles, the tube passes through the passenger compartment, usually on the passenger's side below the dash. If the tube is damaged or disconnected, it can then drain onto the floor inside the vehicle.

Water was leaking inside on passengers side, now

HVAC drain tube was blocked and condensation could not drain to the outside of the vehicle

as a result the water pooled inside the HVAC case leaking on the inside and killing your blower motor and probably blower motor resistor

clear the drain, replace the blower and resistor and you'll be back in business
