89 ford tempo hard to start turns over &over for few seconds then will start i dont like this cause ii think something else will go out what do think is wrong how do fix the problem

My first suggestion would be to give it a tune up new plugs and wires and rotor cap also fuel filter and air filter this would remove any dought of small issues such as air fuel and spark!

Car idles rough in park also runs rough in overdrive

Sometimes a rough idle like that is a fuel filter. As you've already done the plugs and wires the fuel filter would be my next bet.

My 89 Dodge B 250 , 3.9 runs cranking,stalls when I let go of key

If it were older I'd say ballast resistor is bad but its too new. I had a Ford Tempo that did this and the actual igniytion switch down on the column, not the key part, was coming apart and a couple of zip ties to hold it together fixed the problem. newer cars do all these connections in this switch box itsself without the resistor. Last resort would be the ECM. Ask autozone or Advance auto parts for the code explanations. Good Luck. Chibasset

Idles rough plugs are white runs and drives good but idles rough everything has just been rebuilt and checked all vacuum lines are where they go i dont think it could be timing but

sounds like the same problem I had with my 1985. I have found that when the carborator goes bad. It gets an internal vacume leak that can,t be fixed. I wen,t through 9 rebuilt ones that all had the same problem. put on a aftermarket weber carb & has ran fine for the last 7 years.

1983 honda acc cold start wont stay running when cold idles rough

try checkin your idle air control. most of the time it is a vacuumn line going into intake.pull it off and if the car revs up dont worry, it wont hurt it. if it does simply put it back on, if it dies you have a bad vacumn.

91 tempo run rough with white exhaust

If you are sure it is white smoke and the car overheats or looses water,The head gasket is bad.
Or It's valve seals or rings smokes (but the smoke would have a blueish tint)
