If this is a YD25 turbo diesel D40 then i bet you tow a trailer or carry a bit of weight in it. its not your driving, unfortunatly its the lack of torque that the engine has at low RPM, and you find yourself riding the clutch to take off. dont get me wrong these are a great engine with heeps of torque, but the engine needs to be reving before the turbo kicks in. i have found once aware of the reasons pay a bit more attension to the clutch on take off and avoid parking it facing up a hill.
but unfortunatly will prob need a new cluch first.

At how many miles should I replace my clutch and flywheel?

flywheel can last whole life of the truck if you are a good driver and i have seen clutchs go as long as 200 hundred thousand depends on the driver and the roads you drive uphills etc.personally i would wait until signs of slipping surfaced .

2006 Nissan Frontier Starter wont engage

Your starter solenoid is probably bad if the battery is good. Not sure if you can get just the solenoid or you have to buy the whole starte. Also check to make sure the cables are tight not only on the battery but the starter as well

My clutch on my 2001 Nissan Frontier makes a ''rattle''.

throw-out bearing is perhaps warn... or the clutch plate could possibly be warped abit... but likely the bearing if the transmission isn't slipping.
