I get no heat out of the heater. Coolant level is ok. Thermostat has been replaced recently. Is there a heater control valve to direct hot coolant to the heater core?

Vaccuum control valve for heater, is stuck or broke. This allows the antifreese to flow through the heater and heat the inside of vehicle. Ccheck vaccuum lines and valve, its by the heater core.
Also, if the antifreese has not been changed, it can clog the heater core not allowing the antifreese to flow. Flush system and check again.

Loosing radiator water and no heat from heater

Fill radiator & pressure test the system. You will need a rad pressure tester for this operation. Also check the oil & oil dipstick for white residue in the oil . Antifreese may be leaking into the oil. Do the tail pipe finger test to see if there is a fowl burnt antifreese smell. This could spell a head gasket problem. Also check for signs of wetness on the passenger side floor mat. This would indicate a heater core leak. Check all hoses & connectios fof leaks. Good luck!

Looking at change out the coolant sensor car is over heating but first it will blow cool air before it over heats when it finals blows hot air and the therostate opens up it goes back down we have changed...

It sounds like you have a head gasket leak or an intake manifold antifreese leak. Have a coolant system pressure test performed to determine where & the extent of the leak. The 2003 impala is noted for this problem. Good luck!

Where is the water pump on a 1995 tarus

Do you have a head gasket leak. Check all hoses for leaks. Also check oil dipstick for signs of white residue. This indicates antifreese leak into oil. Check muffler extension . Put finger into the pipe & smell odor. If it has an antifreese smell,it is probably a headgasket leak especially if over 70,000 miles on engine. Also your thermostat may be sticking & forcing boil over. These are a few things to check before you proceed. Good luck!
