I have a 350 cu.

I have a 350 cu. inch chevy engine. I just did a compression test on all cylinders and found cylinders 1,2,7,8 have 140. while cylinder 3 has 135 cyl 5 has 130 cyl 4,6 has 125. there is no hesitation on acceleration, no oil consumption. what gives? thanks jim

Try shooting oil into 4 and 6, then retake compression test. If they come up you have worn rings, if not you could have a slight leak around the valves. or a slight leak in the head gasket between those two cylinders.
