Try shooting oil into 4 and 6, then retake compression test. If they come up you have worn rings, if not you could have a slight leak around the valves. or a slight leak in the head gasket between those two cylinders.

now to answer in otto cycle mode (engine 101)
if a cylinder does not fire, gas /petrol
1:low compression on the cylinder, test it.
2: bad spark on that cylinder try new plug swap with other cyl.
3: bad injection on that cylinder, , swap injectors, or test them.
check fuel pressure, check , scan codes.

Chevy 350 just rebuilt. Why is there no compression in any cylinder?

If no compression then you need to do a leak down test to see where the compression is going which may be due to poor ring seal if you did not machine the cylinders in the engine block so they are perfectly round as part of the rebuild or it may be elsewhere - such as intake or exhaust valve leakage.

In any event here is information on leak down testing under the compression testing section........

1998 nissan frontier xe 4 cyl auto misfire cyl #2 engine vibrates like a bad sparkplug when driving

To review - - do you know for a fact the distributor is firing that cylinder? And do you have power and a ground pulse for that injector ?
You say no vac leak, but have you done a compression test on all cylinders ? Is it possible the egr valve is leaking and affecting that cylinder ?

Cylinder #1 continues to Misfire

What DTC code(s) are you getting?
You performed a compression test on cylinder #1; did you test cylinder #2?
Compare the readings, if there is a significant difference in compression readings between the two, you may have a bad head gasket, a bad valve, etc.
The bottom line, the problem is internal to the engine.

Driving home last night from work, engine started to shake and run rough, drove it home and the car sounded like a missing cyl. took it around the corner to the mechanic and tested on computer found...

When testing the compression did you squirt a little oil in the cylinder? if the compression doesn't change then you have a burnt valve, if it does change you have a broken rings on the piston

I need to know what the stock compression pressure in psi should be on a 1991 mercury grand marquis 302 5.0L, I dont want the ratio, I need the psi. What was it from factory?

This engine offered a 4-inch bore, 3-inch stroke and a compression ratio of 8.9 to 1.

each cylinder should have the plugs removed, and each cylinder should have atleast 150 psi, with no more than a 10% difference between the 8 cyl .

most engines period will cary atleast 90 to 180 psi depending on the number of cyl.

Found TDC but rotor not on Cylinder #1?

when you bring the piston to TDC on the compression stroke
slide the distributor in and point the rotor towards the number one cylinder once you get it all back together but dont tighten the distributor down tight because you still have to adjust timing

Low compression cyl has 20 lbs of compression.

A leakdown test is where you remove the spark plug from the problematic cylinder, and install an adapter and air hose, shop air, about 90 to 120 psi.You have to be certain both valves are closed on that cylinder, and i do this by removing the valve cover on that bank, rotate the crankshaft and watch the rocker arms work on that cylinder, and watch them close completely. Now,install the shop air,and listen for air hissing in the tailpipe, this checks the exhaust valve, and then the intake manifold, this checks the intake valve. Now,you can also listen in the crankcase, and if you hear hissing in the crankcase, then you have bad rings,or a piston with a hole in it.
