You have three error codes, but failed to tell us what they are

You provided no vehicle discription,no vehicle problems

One issue could cause 3 or more codes,but you have to
know OBD2 Systems, to diagnose, or you just throw parts at the
codes

Codes have nothing to do with parts needed or a solution to
any issues. They are sensors reporting an out of range condition

I am getting three different codes on my 2001 Mercedes ml320. p0103, p0106, and p0453.

code p 0103 refers to mass air flow(MAF) sensor/ volume air flow(VAF) sensor --high input===causes ---short to positive---maf/vaf sensor/s---ECM
code p 0106 refers to manifold absolute pressure(MAP) sensor/barometric pressure(BARO) sensor---range /performance problem===causes ---intake /exhaust leak--map sensor---baro sensor
a leak here could be the hose to the cabin to control the vent operation, transmission actuator hose leak and the exhaust leak could be a cracked flex section of the exhaust pipe near the manifold
code p 0453 refers to evaporative emission(EVAP) pressure pressure sensor---high output===causes --wiring short to positive --EVAP pressure sensor---ECM
I would fix the EVAP symptoms first as as it will show as some of the problems you have mentioned

I have a 2006 GMC 6.0 it's showing me three codes , it quits an goes into limp mode , the codes are P0300 p1516. Bo229 can you help me out with this

p0300 is random misfire and p1516 is throttle actuator performance of voltage issue. you may have a faulty throttle actuator which is causing the random misfire. the b0299 is a fault related to a body component which may or may not be related to the primary "p" codes.

Ford territory. It shows security code error. Please help with some advice. I am stuck on a farm. Need some (DIY)tips

If you have a security code issue it's usually caused by a bad chip in the key so it won't start the vehicle or a bad body control module either way the truck will need to be towed to a dealer to be diagnosed and fixed but it's most likely needing a new key cut and programmed to the truck

Check engine light stays on. Had code cleared 3 times and when I drive a block it comes back on. When it starts the engine surges on its own and sometimes quits.

Perhaps you need to remember that the engine light is a victum and not a cause. Clearing the codes does not address the issue that caused it to come on.
Pull the error code and follow that indication. REMEMBER that codes are a CLUE and not necessarily the cause. For example, an intake leak will cause misfiring and that makes high hydrocarbons, and that may cause an oxygen sensor error, but the sensor being out of range is NOT the issue, but the result of the issue....

Follow the indications from the error codes. Reset, as you now know, does nothing.

Clear code for engine light

The code clearing happens via two things> first, resolve the issue causing the error code. The code will come back if you do not resolve the issue. you can clear the codes by using a code reader, but it woudl likely reappear. Fix the issue causing the error code.
Remember, the code is a clue, not always the issue.

Hi, this code is set usually from the transmission slipping. Chrysler has a lot of issues with the solenoid packs on these if they do not open or close properly it can set these error codes.

There are to many things that can cause this issue, the most one is the crank shaft sensor or cam sensor that has gone bad. Before you go replacing good parts, pull the DTC codes to your car so that way you know what you have to address to fix the engine's issue. <br /><br />You can troubleshoot it yourself without any tools, or you can tell when your mechanic is totally off-base. <br /><br />http://www.allpar.com/fix/computer-codes.html<br /><br /> <li>Codes are displayed on digital odometers on newer models. </li> <li>On many 2001 and newer models, holding in the trip odometer reset button while turning the key to RUN will start a self test, with a readout on the odometer. It will also activate all instrument panels, one at a time. <i>We do not know if this will show computer codes, or whether it only tests the instrument panels. </i>At the end, it may show a few odd codes that are firmware versions and not error codes.</li> <li>On most cars, the codes will read out if the <a id="KonaLink1" target="undefined" class="kLink" style="text-decoration: underline ! important; position: static;" href="http://www.allpar.com/fix/codes.html#"><font style="color: blue ! important; font-family: Georgia,Tahoma,Verdana,serif; font-weight: 400; font-size: 20px; position: static;" color="blue"><span class="kLink" style="color: blue ! important; font-family: Georgia,Tahoma,Verdana,serif; font-weight: 400; font-size: 20px; position: relative;">engine </span><span class="kLink" style="color: blue ! important; font-family: Georgia,Tahoma,Verdana,serif; font-weight: 400; font-size: 20px; position: relative;">light</span></font></a> is on - all you have to do is put the key into the RUN position. </li> <li>Normally, to get codes, you put the key on OFF and then rapidly do OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON (on some cars you have to do four or five, not three, OFF-ON cycles).
