Try changing the spark plugs, them the spark plug wires one at a time.
if you pull the plugs you may find one or two wet/black on the spark side. this can be your bad one.
next the coils may be bad.
next the fuel injectors.

My 2014 kodiac450 starts missing on acceleration when in differential lock?

check the power draw for the diff lock system as it appears that the current draw is robbing the ECM of enough power to work and run the engine. You may have to have the alternator bench tested for current output. Check condition and tension of drive belt.

Engine missing mainly between 45 and 55 mph

I'm going to assume you have the 3.4 V6 engine which uses direct ignition with a coil on each plug.
Could be ignition or fuel related.
A weak spark/coil will allow the engine to run on all 6 cylinders at idle but miss under load, especially when going into overdrive at 45 mph. Not enough spark to jump the gap.
Same thing with low fuel pressure or dirty injectors. Not enough fuel when the engine is working hard.
Usually when you get a hard miss you will get a trouble code for the cylinder that is not giving power.
Have you changed the fuel filter in the past 12 months ?

My audi a4 1.6 1996 model does not start

Sorry, there is not enough information to provide you with a "solution" for your problem. There are HUNDREDS of possible causes for an engine to not start. That is what "diagnosis" is for.

Your engine needs basically four things in order to start:
> Volumetric efficiency (V)
> Air/fuel ratio (A)
> Compression (C)
> Ignition (I)

V + A + C + I = POWER

When there is no POWER, it is because one of the parts of the equation is missing. PRELIMINARY diagnosis is to determine which parts of the equation are present and which are missing. Then PINPOINT diagnosis is to determine WHY the missing parts are missing.

96 lexus has no or very little power in drive

Sorry, but your question does not contain enough information to answer with an accurate solution for your problem. There are MANY things that can cause the symptoms you are describing.

Your engine needs basically four things in order to run correctly:

> Volumetric efficiency (V)
> Air/fuel ratio (A)
> Compression (C)
> Ignition (I)

V + A + C + I = POWER

When there is no POWER, it is because one of the parts of the equation is missing. PRELIMINARY diagnosis is to determine which parts of the equation are present and which are missing. Then PINPOINT diagnosis is to determine WHY the missing parts are missing.

1998 corvette c5 has miss at idle. I've changed plugs and put in a new throttle positioning sensor. Put products in gas for water. Still misses.

Try cleaning your Mass air flow sensor. When the MAF sensor gets dirty, it can cause your engine to run slightly lean and make sure your engine is running at normal operating temperature with a good thermostat.
At idle, if the MAF is slightly dirty and giving the wrong signal to the PCM. There is a good chance that your engine have a lean condition enough to cause it to have a miss. It's may just be in the perimeters that it will not set a check "service engine light" on, but will cause it to miss.
Start with that and post us back, be glad to help and thank you for using fixya.

the throttle position sensor is gone, or the fuel pump, is not giving enough fuel, have the pressure read, and get back to me. im assuming it will be the sensor though.
