Dont think this would cause this problem here but without a good look myself i couldnt say exactly what the problem is ,i would advise you ask a local mechanic to have a good look for you and if need be reply to this post after the mechanic has a look and then i can have a better idea and answer if i think the diagnosis is correct

Bmw 5 series dispaly and cd not working son put coins in cd player

I'm afraid the coins did cause a shortage in the CD player, knocking out the player. A tech should replace it, when you still want to play disks. I hope your son did learn something, because it won't be cheap in a BMW to replace the CD player.

Car will not start

you need to look at the smaller power wire from the battery to the rest of the car..it sounds like the fuseable link failed..check the battery connections also.. replace the fuseable link first and test by turning cars lights on..if they work.. try to start it..process of elimination..good luck..

Trying to put an after market cd player in my wifes car a 2001 alero. all the wiring is correct and all the fuses i can find are good but its still not working. any info on this??

Make sure that the fuseable link in the stereo's power wire is good, and you need to make sure that there are not two sets of plugins from the factory. If the car was equipped with a factory amp, then there is probably another set of plugs as well.

99 honda civic lx, coolant was found in motor oil-head gasket replaced...now for some reason the ac will not work! it was working fine and mechanic claims it was working fine when he test drove it after...

GOOD LORD,, Not here to knock any ones work but.. could be many things.. I guess you checked all fuses.. sounds like fuseable link didn't like being wired around.. I would make sure acc. wire is not missing from battery. check pressure switch wires at the dryer see if you have fire with switch on if not run hot wire and see if air comp kicks on .. do you have power to air cond fuses .. bet you dont.. fuseable link or check relays fuseable link didn't like that wire around.. hard to tell you where to start.. need someone to undo what he did i would call Better Business Bereau. I could coach you threw this repair but we would have to have better communication..

My child put peeny's in my cd player and now it

Buy this  http://www.amazon.com/Honda-Civic-CR-V-Haynes-Repair/dp/1563927454
, it's very cheap, and follow it to the letter to remove the cd player. With the cd player out just remove its casing and take out the pennies.

My son was listening to the car radio with the engine off for a couple of hours and as a result the car would not start. When you turned the key all you heard was a click, click, click. We tried to jump...

First shoot your son. It is not the fuseable link, when a fuseable link blows you get no power at all to anything. I suspect you have a security system that needs to be reset.

Fuse box

THERE IS A FUSEABLE LINK BETWEEN FUSE BLOCK & BATTERY, IT IS BLOWN. THE FUSE IS AN INTERGRAL PART OF THE WIRE HARNESS.. YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE LINK. SIMPLY CUT OUT OLD LINK, SPLICE IN THE NEW ONE.
