I have a 95 Chevrolet Lumina and I Just got a new engine...After installed All my lights on dash come on... And the speed & Temp meter don't work...Now the transmission is a problem...When you start the car and put it in gear... It's like you in second for a while and then the car jump's back in first gear...The first stop you make and start off again...The car move slow like it has to catch up to the right gear WHY???

Sounds like you have some poor connections after the install.Double check all of the grounds. The tranny is electronically controlled.,so a bad or missed connection could cause this problem.Good Luck!!!!

Look for a light on the dash that says SECURITY. If you see this light, you have a fail abtitheft system that is shutting down the starter. Look at this link for info and answers
make sure you replaced the correct directional light relay, and not the hazard relay. Check all fuses. check grounds at rear lights. If all of the following are good, your lumina would have a faulty multifunction switch.
hello......this sounds like a flasher for sure! it is cheap and easy too replace.....FLASHER is located under driver's side dash.......round shape, with 2-3 wires connected at 90 degree angle to flasher, good luck
guest, you should really buy a shop manual for this car. giovachi, check the trans fluid level and see if it smells burnt. if it smells burnt, take the car to a transmission shop and have the transmission checked out by a specialist. your lights and guages acting up after a new engine was put in could be some wires didnt get plugged back in or even a bad ground somewhere, but I would go back to whoever installed the engine and make them fix it.
