Question about 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab Sport
It is probably the EGR valve itself. I would remove the valve and check the lines coming off of it to make sure it is not clogged. If that checks out ok then I would replace the EGR Valve and then clear the code with a scan tool.

P0406 is an EGR flow sensor code you may just have to replace the EGR valve
