I have a 98 GMC Sonoma. The headlights will not

well try this it would make you laugh if this work check your floor brake pull up on it all the way and see if it comes on when the park brake is on they turn the lights off and if there not up all the way it will keep it from coming back on. hope that works for ya.

The tail lights went out 2 days ago and we have checked all the fuses under the dash and the hood and we cant find the problem

Check for power and ground at the brake-light switch and the brake-lights. Common failures are the brake-light housings (the circuit boards break inside) and the switch on the pedal.

98 sonoma 4x4 ,4.3 vortec. won't start.new battery,coil,pickupcoil,cap,rotor,wires,plugs,fuel pump,checked all fuses, and grounds.even checked pcm.

My 98 sonoma would not start if humid and about 70F. There was also no fire when acting up. Finally found a bad connection on the hall pickup sensor from the distributor. I put ox-guard on the connector pins and plugged it back in - no problems. Took about 2 years and $500 in wasted repairs to find this. Good Luck!

Get a female garden hose adapter from the local hardware store. Disconnect the heater hose from behind the fan pulley and attach the hose connection. Disconnect the other heater hose behind the alternator, aim it towards the ground and flush water through the heater core. This worked on my truck.
