Well if you can see it in the tube . get a pair of long needle nose pliers.or try a magnet, a pencil magnet. or have a mechanic drop the oil pan .

My oil dipstick broke off. Can you tell me the easiest way to retrieve the stick to replace with new

Many dipstick holders are bolted to the engine...removing this bolt and the dipstick tube should also retrieve the may need a new tube, as well as dipstick...Hope this helps.

Broken dipstick removal on 1.8l Nissan Sentra.

There have been issues with dipstick handles breaking off and dipstick stuck in tube. Here is a simple way to remove that broken dipstick. On the valve cover there is a hose that leads to the intake tube. Remove this hose and with a blow nozzle blow compressed air into the valve cover. The broken dipstick will shoot out of the tube. Simply install the new dipstick into the tube.

2005 Dodge Grand Caravan/Broken oil dipstick removal/how to

A pair of needle nose pliers can be used to retreive it if its not too far down the tube. If you cant see it use a telescoping magnet slide it slowly into the tube so you can feel it make contact with the broken dip stick.

Dipstick brokeoff inside dipstick tube

It's only 2 bolts to detach dipstick tube from block and if it doesn't pull the broken piece out when u remove tube u should see the piece sticking out of block to pull it out by hand!!!

Can I use Mobil 1 sunthetic oil for the engine of 2005 1.8SE Nissan Sentra?

Sure, the only issue is oil comsumption. If you put the oil in and start to consume too much oil, consider HIGH MILEAGE Blend. These oils are both synthetic and regular oil. Casteroil and others make this oil.

I have a 2000 Nissan Sentra GXE auto. Lately, it seems the gears are not automatically shifting. If I get to 60 mph it doesn't advance to the next gear. No engine lights or any warning are displayed....

This is indicative of a clogged transmission filter and ultimately a failing transmission. As such you should take it to a reputable mechanic or transmission repair shop and have it inspected. Conservative estimate for a rebuild on a front wheel drive transmission for that year vehicle will run you around $1,600 - $2,000.

Using compressed air to blow something out of an engine like that can cause serious problems with sensors and seals within the engine so in the future it wold be better to remove the dipstick tube to get the missing section out.

I need to refill my gearbox oil of my 1996 model nissan sentra

I assume its a standard transmission.
Should be a threaded plug on the top of trans , or 1/2 way up on the side.
If auto trans , add fluid through dipstick tube.
