Yes. it will affect power all together because not only is oil getting into the radiator but coolant is also getting into the cylinders.

Why would oil and water leak out of my Lincoln navigator 5.4l engine

Worse case this could be due to a blown head gasket - however let not jump to conclusions. Where is the oil coming from and did you have it changed recently? Water is common from the A/C condenser and or over fill of the wiper fluid or possibly rain / bad oil change place that "rinses the engine" with water to get excess oil off. If you did have your oil changed / car serviced, take it back and have them check it. Maybe it's a loose oil filter or loose oil drain plug / bad washer on the drain plug. If you haven't have the oil changed recently, did you hit anything or did the car over heat recently? To see if you blew a gasket, check your overflow tank coming off the radiator. Pop the cap and look inside to see if you see oil (not dirty water / coolant). Also check if the car is blowing blueish smoke or excessive white smoke when you drive / rev the motor. If not, hopefully your fine. Post more details and you'll get a better answer. Good luck!

If you are loosing coolant and cant find any leaks check your oil level. If oil level is rising.you have blown a head gasket or cracked a head. Common when an engine over heats badly.

It loses power on acceleration and serious loss of power on hills

sounds like a clogged fuel filter. you need to have the engine pressure checked for leaks, you can rent the pressure checker at autozone, it connects to ur radiator and u pump pressure into the cooling system if u find water leaking around the head u know u have a blown head gasket. if ok then check the cylinder compression should beable to rent this also. it screws into the spark plug holes has a gauge on it. alternator problem w/ the light is probaly you need to tighten the belt.hope this helps!!!

Car is stalling. oil light on and off periodically. driving down highway car wouldnt go over 40mph. mechanic said he didnt think it was head gaskets. spark plugs are new and fuel filter is fairly new....

no codes?? could have intake leak??or low compression ,, plugged converter,to much ,air,,fuel,,start at the basics ,,if possible hook scanner to car & do a diagnostic to see whats working in their parameters or not,,other wise u could spend a lot of money on parts,,that u don't need
