Question about 2000 Cadillac DeVille
Is the MAF code still there? More MAF codes than you had before? If it is running that bad, it should be setting a code for SOMETHING! If you cleaned the MAF, it is probably destroyed. GM MAFs don't like getting cleaned. Another thing to look for if you have the Northstar Engine is the ground cable that goes from the right (Passenger side) fender to the alternator bracket. These like to break and can cause all kinds of starting/running problems and multiple codes. Whenever I have a Northstar engine that is running really bad or failing to crank, I always check this first.
