Take the door panel off... put the window in down position... now you should be able to work the window up with your hands and you will be able to see inside the door where the tracks are and where the window needs to go... just line it up in the tracks and let it come down into place... you will need some good adhesive or silicon in the bottom track which holds the window in place and keeps it from being able to get out of the tracks ...put the adhesive in the bottom track before you push the window all the way down into the bottom track... roll up the window all the way but do not roll it down again until the adhesive has had time to dry fully... replace door panel

How do i fix my window when its off the track

your going to have to pull the door cover off, first by removing any screws, then poping the clips out of there holes gently as they are plastic and could break. Then look for the track assembly and follow it till you see where it came off track or broke, then all you have to do is put back on,or replace it,remember which way it goes before you take the old 1 off.

My 2004 acura rsx. the window track clips dont stick to the window when they go down. so the window works fine when it goes up. but doesnt come down with the track clips. is there a adhesive i can buy. or...

I had the same problem with our 2004 RSX. First the driver's side window now the passenger side. They tried to glue the window back twice (driver's side) and ended up having to replace the window and tabs. Now the passenger side did the same thing. My wife put up the window and it kept going, coming out of the track. I'm assuming the window will have to be replaced. Waiting for Acura's ruling. Must be a flaw in the tabs/glue...should have been a recall.

You say you replaced the switch? Make sure the glass is on track; if it skipped the track it won't open.
