Question about 2005 Nissan Sentra
I have 55k on my Nissan 2005 1.8s. I was recently driving on the highway at a maintained speed and my car out of nowhere sounded like a monster truck it did this 2 times in a 5minute period. Oil levels are good and I just checked the transmission fluid all is well. It also seems to be hesitating a bit the past 2 weeks and I have brushed it off until now. Can anyone help?
Also I looked under the hood and a belt labeled 11950-42800 / 4pk840 looks very worn, I am not sure if this is the timing belt or the AC belt.
Can anyone help?
Hi there, the first place i would look is the idler pulley on the front of the engine when the bearing wear out the tend to make funny noises like that or the ac compressor clutch is slipping and also the timing belt is behind a cover cant be seen but any belts you see on the front of motor are your regular belts
