Question about 2000 Nissan Xterra
There are a few things that could cause this, so start with the simplest thing first. I would recommend that you check the fuse panel and make sure all of your fuses are good, remember that there are two fuse panels, one inside the cabin of the vehicle, and one under the hood. If the fuses are good, then you are looking at a faulty cam sensor, crankshaft sensor, O2 sensor, or the PCM.
All of the above can cause the inability to start. I would have a diagnostic ran on the vehicle, this will take the guess work out of it, and will save you a lot of money.
