SOURCE: I can't get the piston
Replace the piston assembly. If it will not move back and forth, freely. putting new pads on will serve no purpose. Calipers should be replaced in pairs. My suggestion is to replace both and then put in new pads.
Doing any less will cause more trouble down the road, no pun intended. Stopping is very important to you and your family as well as every other car, truck, bus, building and individual you drive near.
