We recently had an icestorm now my windshield wipers make a loud noise and wont work

Hi,
If you turned the wipers ON while they were still frozen to the windshield you likely stripped the gears in the wiper's motor. They're likely only going 1/2 way because the wipers also got misaligned on the motor shaft, too.

You may get lucky and be able to REALIGN the wipers on the shaft.

Widshield washer not working

Most time the washer pump stops working and needs replaced. First remove the
washer fluid tank[carefully ,because the tank is plastic] and drain the fluid. The pump has a small electric connection and the pump slips into the tank around a rubber ring. Since
the tank has no pressure ,the pump is just pushed into the rubber and easy to replace. Let me know if that helps

Check under the hood on the driver side or passenger side. There should be a fuse box that should show you where the fuse for the windshield washer is but my guess is the driver side. Good luck!!!

Washer only works on one side

first stick a straight pin or needle in the small hole on top of the hood it may just be plugged. then if that does not work then check the hose under the hood up under the felt liner and follow it to the connection to see if has come loose there if so you can fix that with a connector tube from any parts store take a small piece of the hose so they know what size and kind you will need
