My 1999 Buick Century's Front Left turn signal lamp doesn't work. I replaced the bulb, and after 2 days, it went out again. If I switched the bulb to the right side, it would work on the right side !! So, my guess is it's something to do with "high voltage" or "high current" spike.
(I had similar problem with my 1997 century too.)
Check wire contacts in socket. If they are melted change the socket
It can be removed easily just unplug the wires.
I have replaced both front sockets on my 1999 Buick Century.
Hope this helps.
