Question about 1983 GMC G1500
a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Mechanic (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Online is very very limited.
Your best bet is to either to buy a repair manual covering your SUV (~$15-25 each depending on your model year), or else you can go to your Public Library and use the Auto Manuals there for free and Xerox anything you want.
AUTOZONE used to have some schematics online, but I think they dropped a lot of that now?? Try them though - as they might have brought it back?? I use Chilton manuals, or else Haynes auto manuals when possibly, as they are the best.
Hope that helps!
Post a reply please.....and rate my fix as well.
