Hi Midge

Up under the dash, drivers side. Usually on or near the fuse box.

Look for a cylindrical module, about the diameter of a half dollar and about an inch and a half long.

This is the blinker module.

It can be either metal or plastic. It pulls right out

Best regards

Mike

Hi there, I have a 2005 Chevy Malibu 3.5L engine with an error code B3948. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Thanks!

See if the signal flashes, buy a new bulb. Some Chevy no longer use a flasher relay, the signal comes from the body computer.

Replacing turn signal relay on a 2004 chevy malibu classic

This should be pretty easy. Just pop the hood and locate the fuse/relay box. Take the cover off and you should see the relay there among many others. Check the fuse diagram on the fuse box cover if you can't find it. Replacing the relay should be just plug-and-play.

How do I get to the turn signal relay on a 2000 chevy malibu? I understand it is in the dash located right behind the hazard relay.

You wil need to take out the instrument cluster, not really a bad job. 10 minutes maybe. Its the Hazard Switch and relay, all one unit.

2004 Chevy Malibu driver's side turn signal doesn't work

resistance from the bulbs activate the flasher, so if a light is out it won't flash, could be a ground or an open circuit, time to check wiring
