Runs rough with code p0304 how do I fix this

Part is cylinder 4 misfire. Try disconnecting the lead for cylinder 4 sparkplug to see if it runs the same. If it does, plum the plug and sees if the conductor is eroded or gap is too great. Gap the plug and reinstall. It could be coil for that cylinder also. Could also be a bad plug wire

Missing,viborating

Misfire could be a number of things:
a) spark plugs - change them if used over 15K miles - inspect/regap.
b) spark plug wires - change them if over 15K miles - inspect
c) ECM (electronic control module) - test with HEI (high energy ignition) tester.

The vibrating tells me that the engine is running on less than its normal compliment of cylinders - the shaking is produced by the imbalance caused in the engine by one (or more) cylinder(s)
not firing at all.

The "Check Engine" light probably is coming on due the the misfire condition. Go to Pep Boys or
Advance Auto Pats, where they'll tell you (free) your codes causing the "Check Engine' light to be
lit - the code coming from your truck's computer will probably be one or more of:
P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder misfire detected
P0301 - Cylinder 1 misfire detected
P0302 - Cylinder 2 misfire detected
P0303 - Cylinder 3 misfire detected
P0304 - Cylinder 4 misfire detected
P0305 - Cylinder 5 misfire detected
P0306 - Cylinder 6 misfire detected
P0307 - Cylinder 7 misfire detected
P0308 - Cylinder 8 misfire detected
P0313 - Misfire detected with low fuel

My 98 jeep grand cheokee runs rough all of a sudden and misses at all rpm ranges p0304 comes up i just replaced the wires and rotor and cap and coil about a month ago plugs are older but e3

I don't know about a 1998, but i do know that E3 plugs
will not work at all in newer vehicles.

I have to ask. Why would you even try them?
I never believe any advertising or find it necessary
to use anything other than what a car maker recommends.
If you do your asking for trouble.

I would check for vacuum leaks & forget that one cylinder
misfire. If you had COP Coils then you replace that one
but you don't

Loose the plugs

P0304-cylinder 4 misfire detected and P0174-system too lean (Bank 2)

Check for a failed ignition spark plug wire, fouled or damged spark plug, possible vacumn leak around the area of the intak and #4 cylinder, also take a compression test of all the cylinders and hope they are all close to the same in pressures, like they all can be 125psi give or take 10%, if compression is low in a cylinder squirt a shot of oil in the low one and see if the reading comes up...comes up..its ring problems, no change possible valve problem, either way to fix this sort of problem the engine has to be torn down and inspected.
Happy Motoring!!

1998 ford expedition misses, ,shudders, replace spark plugs 6 months ago, and 2 COP's. #4 misfires again!!

The coil is not seated correct or it has become bad also. These have a tendency to mess up on a regular basis. I use a di-electric grease on mine to help it from misfiring. I would take that #4 back off and re-seat it and see how it performs.

What is the meaning of 98 Honda Civic error codes P0300 P0303 P0304? Engine will not start, does not seem to fire.

P0300 indicates that there is multiple miss fire in the ignition system. P0303 and p0304 indicates the miss fire is in cylinder #3 and #4. Replace the spark plug, and wire set, and rotor and cap if there is one. Can not remember if there are coil packs on the civic, the age thing. change the fuel filter and clean out the fuel injectors with fuel injector cleaner for the next 3 full ups. When the spark plugs are removed, inspect them for condition, if there clean or dirty with carbon build up. which would indicate how the engine is running. Keep me posted and drive safe.
