P0128 is a temperature error code indicating: ECT Sensor Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature

Possible causes are:

  1. Check the operation of the thermostat (it may be stuck open)
  2. Coolant level is too low, or the coolant mixture is incorrect
  3. ECT sensor signal circuit has a high resistance condition
  4. ECT sensor is damaged or it has failed
In most cases, assuming the coolant level is full, changing the thermostat will correct your problem.

CK Engine Light came on, (2006 Dodge Sprinter - 2500), mechanic found P2088 and replaced sensor. Ran check again found P 2032-02 sensor plausibility. They say oil contaminated in air charge tubes. The CK...

P2088 Dodge ,That is a cam position actuator, Not a cam sensor, Cam actuator control the cam angle, If this is ****** or advanced you'll definetly get CK ENG LT 2032, 2032 is reporting the engine condition and CK engine light is on due to a logic check, The function check has been suspended and the ECM is reporting the logic which is the condition of the vehicle, The first code was correct, P2088 that is a function failure. If there is acces to a freeze frame it will show at what MPH the vehicle was going if it is less than 40mph you can be sure the cam actuator is not advancing. Leave 2032 alone trouble shoot P2088 that is the source

My check engine light came on my 2007 Sante Fe, not sure why engine seems to be running fine. I keep reading about codes is that something that has to be read by a mechanic or can I find this code?

Some ck engine lights come on after 100,000 miles or so. When you take it to the shop they ck engine and reset the engine light indicator. Just a safety feature.

Chevy trailblazer check engine light

P0128 is coolant operating temperature operating too low. This can be contributed to the Thermostat stuck open or faulty electronic radiator fan clutch. This is common, I had the same issue and replaced the thermostat and fan clutch and had the clutch re-programmed (required) at the dealer. As for the P0410, check the air pump fuse, if blown it will set this code on. Also check the air pump hoses for water and cracks. Hopefully this helps!!

I have a 2006 trailblazer engine light on when started runs for about 3 sec. then cuts off.

First of all, what cuts out, the "check engine" light, or the engine itself? If its the ck eng light it sounds like an intermittin problem that in most cases cannot be resolved with a code scanner. Have you disconnected the battery to reset that light? If not, then do so (usually the ground cable) for about 10 min., then re-connect the cable and your ck eng. light will be off. ck eng. lights generally have to be constantly on in order to pull codes from the PCM. If there is a problem then the light will come back on.

My chevy cavalier 2005, the speedometer and temperature gauge stopped working. I'm not sure whats wrong and don't want to get ripped off at the dealers. Please help if there is something I can check...

Is the ck engine light on If so take to a auto parts store that will ck the car for codes and that will tell you if the speed sensor is working or not> If the speed sensor is not working the ck engine light will be on and the car will have stored that code.If there are no codes that it is most likely the cluster for the speedometer not working . Now the temperature guage not working is the needle spunaround backwards past the stop If so that replace the cluster .If not than it needs to be ckd for a bad tempature sensor. This should also set a code and turn the ck engine light.
