You definatly have a grounding issue, I would look at all of your wiring underneath especially what is exposed to the elements.

My 1994 honda passport will not stay charged new altnator and new battery

is the engine running at 800 rpm or more.
if engine RPM is way low the Alternator will die out.
trans light , where is that? name it. exactly
lets focus first on the engine, and RPM
does the dash have a tachmeter, ? yes, then use that.
we keep a hand tachometer (optical , ready for no tach cars)
RPM is everything.... maxwells laws. and such.
1: rpm 800 or more all the time. rule 1, do not skip this.
2: belt to ALT not slipping'
3: battery good. terminals on battery cables tight both ends and
NOT PACKED in green corrosion, .
4: alternator case is grounded good.
5: The connection and ALT, all good.
6: you key on, and the dash charge light must turn on,
if not fix that now, on old cars, the dash light , causes the ALT to self excite, if the lamp burns out the alternator boots up DEAD.
or fails every other car starts. (does)
7: new alt is the wrong alt. zillion wrong ones, only 1 works.

Charges ok, battery was replaced, connections cleaned and painted, ran fine for almost three months, then battery went flat again, checked altenator clleaned and greased connections, van ran fine for any...

I would check and clean any wire and connection between the alt and the battery and all grounds. Also check and see if charging voltage is the same at the battery post as it is at the lug on the alt.

97 Eddie Bauer Explorer - 5.0 --- battery light came on - replaced battery - still came on - Autozone said battery & alternator were fine - coming home tonight - everything electrical quit - Now what?

IF BATTERY IS FLAT AS WELL YOU HAVE ONE MAIN THICK RED WIRE FROM POSITIVE TERMINAL ON BATTERY TO POSS ON ALTERNATOR THIS IS MOST LIKELY BROKEN OR CRACKED STOPPING THE BATTERY FROM CHARGING WITCH MEANS YOU CAN DRIVE UNTIL YOUR BATTERY RUNS OUT OF POWER THEN ALL ELECTRICS DIE HOPE THIS HELPS

Battery light comes on intermittantly while driving I had the battery tested and alternator everything was fine???Is it safe??

You have an intermitt issue. Test battery voltage when light is on. More than likely alternator (also check the belt that drives it) or poor battery connection (must be clean and tight).

2006 f150 charging system problem

To be sure the alt. is ok, start up the Truck
and will running pull the ground off the battery
if it keeps running battery is ok.
If you have an uncharged battery and do that
then your Alt.is no good be sure to check all
your wires. If this don't help let me know.
GOOD LUCK
