I think you have answered your own question. By asking, it shows that you are doubtful about it, and that is is really noticeable. That makes it Unroadworthy, and dangerous to drive. It will give poor road-holding and handling, and could cause a deadly accident. Better have that strut replaced again, and ask the Mechanic to find out what is causing these struts to wear out so quickly.

How do I replace rear strut and spring

Replace it as a unit. Strut, spring, strut mount all in one. It's called a quick strut. Raise car by the body not the wheel. Remove brake line (1 bolt) from strut lower. Remove 2 large bolts holding lower strut end. In the trunk 3 smaller bolts hold the strut mount (upper end) in place. DO NOT remove the single large nut at the top of the strut assembly. Wiggle the strut assembly out. Slide the new strut assembly in bolt it back in. Put wheel back on. Done.

Squeaking from driver side front tire

Tie rod ends, ball joint, or Upper strut bearing. An alignment shop would give you an estimate for the repair. You can borrow tools to install the bigger stuff at most Autoparts stores. But for all of these repairs you should get an alignment after replacing any one of these parts.

How do i remove front strut from 2003 ford tauras

Disconnect tie rod, end link and remove brake caliper. Disconnect ABS wiring. Remove lower control arm(ball joint) from spindle. Remove axle flange nut. Remove strut tower mounting nuts in engine compartment. Allow strut to slide down...Carefully remove axle from spindle, do not hammer the end. Use a center punch and hammer to remove it. Do not separate the axle components. There you go.

Replaced struts on 1999 ford taurus but when turn left or hit a bump makes a clunck noise sometimes

Sounds like somthing is loose. Identify the corner and pull that unit apart. If you find no loosness, replace strut.
This presumes no clunk noise until this repair event.

Lower ball joint replacement 1996 ford taurus. wiil I need to remove the the joint houseing from strut?

You remove lower control arm of the chassis where they are located . Do not remove upper mounting strut bolts, remove only two bolts that hold strut to sterrink knuckle.

Front end shakes bad when I brake

My dear if according to you,

You've replaced tie rod ends, lower ball joints, sway bar links, struts and strut ends, and the warped brake rotors and the issue is still at hand; then you ought to consider replacing the hubs.

Good luck.

2001 Tarus clunking sound

very common problem is the sway bay end links that attach to the strut from the sway bar. They sound like a light chuckling knock over bumps. The bushings that hold the subframe up wear or the bolts loosed due to the bushings wearing. usually the rear ones The bushings are 2 piece ,upper and lower Tighten with 18mm socket
