Question about 2004 Dodge Magnum

I have a 2004 Dodge Magnum and my headlights blinks off and on quite often when turned on.

This was a recall issue that was supposed to be fixed, I would bring this into the dealer, they should fix it for free. They had electrical problems with these models, headlights dash lights, and sometimes wipers etc. I would get this checked out before your car brakes down on the road. Hope this helps and good luck. you can also refer to to check out a few other people that had this issue reported it.

Proper way is with code scanner with erase capability. Or you can try to unhook your battery and turn on the headlights, wait about 5 min. then reconnect battery. If you have stereo with code lock make sure to have code before doing.

I have 2005 magnum my headlights have started blinking on an off as Im driving. getting more frequent daily also staying off for longer.

You need to replace the headlight switch most likely and the connector to to the headlight switch. Solder the new connector on and shrink tube the solder joints.

Way beyond me this its all done with a load of fancy electronics with a photo electric cell that works a relay to turn the lights on ,i know the theory but the practicals especially on a american vehcle and where to look -no chance

2005 Dodge Magnum RT. Left turn signal in rear, flashes fast rear bulb replaced but blinker still blinks fast occassionally and rear turn signal light socket has no voltage when this happens. Where is the...

When its blinking fast look at both front and rear to verify which bulb isnt flashing. If the right works OK, then the flasher is OK. The flasher is INSIDE the front control module/integrated power module. If you cant find the problem, you may need a dealer to check it.

How do you replace the headlight bulb on a 2005 Dodge magnum ?

1) pop hood
2) Look at the back of headlight assembly, if you cannot get to the bulb wiring you are going to have to remove assembly
3) remove assembley and disconnect headlight wiring
4)turn bulb retainer counterclockwise and remove bad bulb and install new
5)if you can reach the bulb wiring without taking out headlight assembly all the better you dont have to do step 4

Change headlight bulb 2007 dodge magnum

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Turn the nut on the cable clamp counterclockwise to loosen it and then slide the clamp off the negative terminal.
  • Step 2 Open the hood and remove the electrical connector from the back of the headlight housing ballast.
  • Step 3 Turn the headlight counterclockwise and pull the headlight out of the housing. You may have to angle the bulb up at a 45 degree angle to clear the frame and headlight housing
