2011 KIA Sorrento 2.4 were is the fuel pressure regulator located. put on adjustable fuel reg .need to disconnect stock one


fuel pressure regulators are normally located in the fuel manifold. They are either vacuum controlled or electronic controlled to maintain the right fuel pressure for engine requirements and to shut off the fuel pump when the ignition is turned off
If your manually adjusted unit will not do all that then you are asking for fault codes to appear and all sorts of problems to occur

howdie ther is plastic cover over the engine take this off and then follow the fuel line to it and remove it And May Ask why you doin this Cause ther is no reason on Less you have over 340 km,s on the engine ok just sayin be lookin at the fuel pump pressure and fuel filter before doin this

Black smoke = excess fuel. Could be o2 sensor, blocked fuel pressure regulator etc... should have vehicle scaned they may be able to extract a code, if not a fuel pressure test would be good to

I own a 2005 diesel engine Kia Sorento 4wd. When I drive my vehicle for a short distance, the engine will stop suddenly. I can restart it but the same problem will occur again after another short distance....


I have the same problem for two weeks, three times I ordered dragged checked my fuel pump replaced sensor passed over gas pump and the fuel filter fuel filter checked syringes All right already and high costs
Car turns off the light in the car there's watches on 'CHECK' 'but it seems gust mal engine fuel pressure monitoring -p1181
I am at a loss and 10 mechanics only take money from me and untreated malfunction
Please note I replaced all 4 months ago all VAT radiator engine

I HAVE A 2006 KIA SORENTO. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT


p0454 erratic evap pressure sensor signal
p0122 throttle position sensor circuit low
p0113 intake air temp signal low
p0305 cyl #5 missfire
i would look for a short or open wire somewere
i checked TSBs from kia and none pertain to you
clear codes and drive then check to see if they come back. then repost
