remove the center console and you will see the bulb under the shift panel. To remove the console you need to open the lid and remove the pad on the bottom,remove two screw on the inside,remove four screw on the side and top of the console,pull parking brake and slide the console up and back. Some console have electrical plugs!! Disconnect the plugs before removing all the way. On the left side of the shifter is small black socket, turn left and pull down to remove. Replace the bulb and install in reverse order

The center console needs to be removed, pull the shift plate plastic cover off,
remove two bolts inside the console storage box,
remove the fillips screws that are visible,
the front center storage box also has to be removed,

Center consoles usually have screws on each side and on back panel holding it in place. Remove the screws and you can lift it up over the transmission lever on floor to gain access..

Detach the clips (A, B) by pulling the center console box (C) up, and removing it from the center console (D).

1. Remove the screws (A, B) and clips (C), and remove the center console (D).
   

2. Install the console in the reverse order of removal, and note these items

they are secured with 4 bolts unlike the previous models that required keys. You must remove the console trim and ashtray. possibly the a/c/ unit and upper center vent. Just be careful not to damage the fiber optic cable that attatches to the back of the unit.

Under the center console is a Y in the cable that leads under and around the top/rear side of the brake handle. At the top/rear of the handle is a locknut and threaded shaft to adjust tension.

Be sure to not have any drag on the brakes when you are done adjusting!
