I changed the batteries now I can get anything to work. The temp is off by 10degrees, my day is reading DON. Help what did I do?

Your year--make--model didn't post for some reason? That info would help.
"my day is reading DON", I don't know what that means?
Some makes and models when battery voltage is lost, there could be some modules that may need to relearn or be reprogrammed. If it needs reprogrammed, you may need to take to dealership? Does the vehicle start and run?
Next time try using a memory saver when you unhook battery, see if it helps?

There are no programable sensors , this a misuse of terms and a way a shop passes blame. Sometimes with some vehicles there are some aspects of the comeputer that may need to be reset or reprogramed if the battery is disconected , the fluid changed , the transmission overhauled or replaced and with a software change( re-flash). My question would be what code and or symptom did you have and what sensor did they replace.

After jumpstarting and changing batteries the car wont start

what occurred is that the theft module has reset
typically this only occurs with after market systems but I've seen it a few times with the factory system too

assuming you have the factory alarm key fobs
try locking and then unlocking all doors

open and close the passenger door
open the drivers door
close passenger door
close drivers door
try to start the vehicle

if vehicle still will not start then you will need a professional scan tool to reprogram the keys and computer

Reprogram 2005 Dodge Durango key fob

Go to the dealer. It is the only way, they have to use a computer. Changing the battery doesn't make it lose it's program though. You most likely broke the battery hold down. This is the most common thing I see at my shop. If the key still starts the vehicle, you now have a bad key fob. If not, you may be able to get it reprogrammed.

Change battery in key and reprogram it

I looked up your vehicle at keylessride.com and you can buy programming instructions from them however they also said you need 2 working keys to program a 3rd key and if you dont have 2 working keys you will need to go to a locksmith or a dealer
