If they work when jumping the relay then all wiring from the relay to fans is good.have you checked all the fuses on the car(both under dash drivers side and under hood).if they work then its possible that the coolant sensor may not be sensing the coolant temp as hot as it is(showing the computer that it is at a lower temp)then it actually is.which would suggest a defective coolant temperature sensor and no this sensor does not always set a code.

Why won,t my cooling fans work

They are fused, maybe you blew the fuse or relay? They are also plugged in, check the plugs.

Code 480 on chrysler town and country 3.3, why fuse blows? Even after a fan has been replaced, and relay been replaced.

Probably.
The code means the computer detects the fan is not running after the computer has grounded the relay to turn it on.
If the fuse is blowing and you have replaced the fan motor, I would look for a problem in the wiring. If the fuse is not blowing, I would check for power at the relay and at the fan motor with the relay jumpered. Also check the ground circuit for the fan.

Radiator fans don`t work on town and country van causing engine to overheat

The radiator fan relay is located behind the grill on the driver's side of the vehicle. There is no relay in the distribution box. There is a 40 amp fusible link, however, in that box.
The relay (behind the grill) works in conjunction with the coolant temperature sensor, the A/C high pressure switch, the transmission temperature sender and the PCM. This relay will run the fans from 30% to 99% of full speed based on the signal coming from the PCM. This is all according to the official Chrysler shop manuals that I have for my 2005 Town and Country van.

Headlight do not work on 2005 crysler town &country

Sounds like you may have a bad multifunction switch. I can help you figure this out but you will need a test light or voltmeter and a couple of jumper wires. You will also need to be able to remove the steering column cover to gain access to the switches electrical connectors.

If the above is possible let me know and I'll be happy to help.

Why does my 2005 Town & Country radiator fan

The fan is computer controlled and will not come on untill it reaches 212Deg . It should come on though if you turn on the air conditioning, if not you could have a bad fan relay or relay plug.

2003 Dodge Town and Country Van, 3.8 V6. Where is the engine cooling fan relay located? I replaced the blown 40 amp fuse, tested both fans, the are OK. Need to locate relay!

Down by the bottom of the radiator. pass side. on the frame/rad support. You probly have to remove front splash shield to get to it. I have never had to remove or change one.

Electric cooling fan

check wiring to fan for 12 volts. check wiring and see if there is a relay that can be replaced or tested. If the relay is good, and wiring has 12 volts, then either the temp sensor or fan motor brushes are shot.
