Sounds like it could be the heater core malfunctioning....Can you see where it is leaking from?

You should check the to see if there is an air direct flapper door in the heater air box. Overheating leaking water profusly especially when you turn it off. Leaking somewhere behind the motor, also passenger side heat is blowing cold air

With the location of the water leak and the cold air, it sounds as if the heater core is leaking or one of the heater hoses going to or from the core has a hole in it. The heater core is on the passenger side of the vehicle, inside, against the firewall. Is the carpet wet underneath on that side?

It sounds like you have a busted heater core hose. The only solution is to pin point the leak and replace the hose that's leaking. There are usually two heater core hoses coming out of the firewall on the passenger side of the vehicle. Examine both of them carefully for a blowout. Many times when a hose goes bad or is getting ready to go bad, it will have some swelling or deformation around the end of it. I hope this helps.

It sounds like you have a blend air door stuck. This is in the housing of the heater a/c blower unit under the passenger side of the dash. There is a motor on the top of the housing that could possibly be stuck or on working.

Blowing Cold Air

Sounds like a heater core. Check the passenger side floor board. Sometimes when these go out there will be some water on the passenger side floor. Hope this helps some.
