How do tell if the horn relay is bad or if the horn button is bad

Relays fail quite often and are easy to replace, while the button seldom fails and is much harder to repair. Start with fuses and relay.

Brake light not work. done all checking blubs is good, replace switch, replace relay, fuse all good. turngal work hazzard light work but no brake light. i bypass on relay it work so i cant leave short...

the brake light switch powers the wire which goes to the turn signal switch. So I think if the turn signals works, then the turn signal switch is bad. Check for power at the wire going from the brake switch to the turn signal switch. . Since you didnt tell what year or model the truck is, I cant tell you what the wire color is.

there is a relay under the hood in the fuse/relay panel called drl, or daytime running lamps, that relay is most likely bad, a good way to tell is switch it with the high beam relay, if they come on you know thats it, if they dont, its the relay for the lowbeams, again switch it with the high beam relay and see.. either way i can tell you for sure one of those two are bad... but most of the time it is the daytime running lamps, or sometimes called driving lights relay. hope this helps you

How can you tell when a fuse relay is bad?

what i normally do to check if a fuse relay is bad is check the power going to the relay itself. if you have power in the right places then the relay is probably bad. or if you look at the other relays, their are normally ones that are the same as the one you pulled out. so you can switch them and see if the problem continues

Ac compressor wont kick on when running air Full of refrigerate to! jumper wire to compressor and ran! What is it Ac relay or wiring?

It could be the fuse, climate control, switch, or relay.
If you check at the switch, that will also tell you if the fuse might be bad.
Then if you check at the relay, that will tell you if the climate control is bad.
