Honestly best way is to take your time and don't drop no parts. it should'nt be to hard remove bolts disconnect vacume lines and fuel line, then replace. Good luck sorry i have no websit you could get more help. The repair mannual would help out a lot. This can be found at autozone.

92 chevy caprice water pump pics

You can get like a chilton book for the car at autozone for around 20 bucks. This is a rear wheel drive car and the water pump is easy to get to. Remove the belts and remove the fan and where what the fan bolts to is the water pump. remove the hoses and a half dozen bolts and pry it off. And the best part is the water pump at autozone with a lifetime warranty is 30 bucks.

I've got a chevy small block I need to Id. The pad in front of the passenger side head reads F4027DE

You sure you got the code right? None of those numbers line up in a Chevy small block Book. You have an "F" but that means it's a flint motor and flint made the 6 bangers. And the 40 should be the month but there is no 40th month on the calander. And so on. Make sure to clean the area with a wire brush and get the number to us, so we can help you out!
