Might try reseting your ECM! Do this by turning your key to on then disconnect your positive battery terminal. wait 30 sec. then turn off key and replace battery cable, This is only a suggestion , hard to say it could be a direct short in wireing. Good luck.

Tire pressure light is staying on in instrument panel. checked tire pressures. all correct

There are two typical types of tire pressure monitoring systems, direct and indirect. Direct TPMS uses individual battery powered sensors on each wheel to report tire pressure to the computer and if this is the case one of your sensors may have failed. Indirect TPMS uses a combination of values measured externally to each wheel (rotation velocity, temperature, etc.) then the computer calculates nominal values and indicates when a wheel is performing outside those nominal values thus indicating a potential low tire pressure situation. Any false indications with an indirect TPMS may be due to a fault within the ECU (computer) or other feedback sensor.

What does check tire monitor system mean

Tire/s have low pressure and needs additional air added u ntil the proper tire pressure on all 4 tires are within operating limits. This will also extend the tire life. Tire pressure is printed on tire sidewall.

That signal is from your tire monitoring sensors, telling you that there is air pressure difference between tires. The tire pressure should be same in all tires.

Sounds like the low tire pressure indicator. Check your tire pressure is correct in all four tires. This happens when the tempature outside starts to drop and so does the pressure in the tires. The recommended tire pressure should be listed on the inside of the driver's side door. Most tires are 32 psi cold. After the tires have been filled to proper pressure it may take 15 minutes for the light to shut off.

this is covered by warranty if it is not just a low pressure concern. Did you chek your owner manual to see if you need to reset? Did you check the spare?
