You can get a belt from any auto parts store, just tell them the year, make, and model of the car, and that you want a serpentine belt. Tell them the model does not have an a/c.

I was wondering is there a way to put a v8 caddy motor in a 96 pontiac grand prix se 2 door coup. The motor in my grand prix is a 3100 v6

I would get another 3100 because there is noway you want to try swapping them. It won't work. A used 3100 isn't that high any more.

What is the typical temperature reading for a 99 Pontiac Grand Am gt?? Im not used to V6 and wondering if I should worry about where it sits... Getting ready for a long road trip next weekend.

the fan kicks on at about 212 degrees, it should run about 195 to 200 degrees. if its hotter then this you have to change the thermostat. I have a 3.1 v6 and it runs a line or two past the half, all warmed up. hope this helps!!
