hi larry : if you have an automatic transmission have you tried cycling it thru the gears and back to park or have you tried :N: for a start , other than that I guess a 5 dollar test light can be used to walk you right thru the electric circuit to see were the problem is ,

Won't start, won't crank

have you crossed the solenoid terminals and checked the starter for operation? may have the battery cable burnt thru to ground by the exhaust side of the motor..it happens if the cable is up against the block..

Try following the positive battery cable from the battery to the starter solenoid (not sure if you have an inner fender-mounted solenoid or a starter-mounted one. Take one lead of a pair of jumper cables and connect one end to the solenoid terminal with the cable from the battery, and take the other end of that same jumper cable lead and momentarily connect it to the other large terminal on the starter solenoid. If the starter engages when you do this, replace the starter solenoid. If the engine doesn't try to crank when you do this, you probably have a bad starter. Good luck.

The solenoid click sounds very strong, implying that you have a charged battery and the ignition circuit is functioning out to the solenoid. Suspect an issue with the starter motor. Is the starter motor installed and connected properly?

My F350 will not start. Changed batteries. Truck will not crank or turn over.

Locate the solenoid near the passengers side battery and with the truck in park ,cross the two large copper posts,if it cranks then you likely need the solenoid you just crossed replaced,if nothing happened then you need a starter.
