May be an entire tranny fix but mine did the same thing and only needed a new clutch and fly wheel. cost me about 1200 for the type s and will be about 750-1000 for the base rsx.

My Jeep went front end into a ditch and had a front impact with the ditch wall, now the transmission fluid has all leaked out quickly and it won't shift into gear.

How fast did you run into the wall?
You said all fluid leaked out. Transmissions need the fluid to work.
Need to go to the transmission experts who will probably say you need a rebuild or a need a new transmission or a new vehicle.

I was riding down the street and it stopped moving, seemed like it went into neutral. will only shift into park at this point. will not go into any gear. tow driver says I need a transmission.

I would have liked to hear you had been checking your transmission fluid regularly, and that the level was fine when this happened, but you did not say. If this had been true, it would likely have been either the shift linkage had failed, or the transmission had actually failed.
If you are not aware of all this, have someone check the fluid level and look for leaks. God bless you as you try to fix this.

My 1998 Ford Explorer Sport Manual Transmission won't shift into any gear

Then there is a serious problem with the clutch. turn the engine off and engage a gear and try and roll the truck, do it feel like it is in gear? if not the clutch is either defective or the transmission input shaft is broken

My 97 Saturn SL2 won't go past 30 mph. Even with

I guess my first question would be - are you saying it is slipping in 3rd gear ? If you push the gas pedal to the floor it should downshift into a lower gear.
If it is slipping, or not upshifting into 3rd gear, I'm afraid chances are the transmission is toast.
You can take it to a couple of shops for estimates but they will probably want to pull the pan and take a look inside.

I have a 98 seebring that the transmission was making a winding noise. The guy at Auto zone told me to add Lucas to the fluid. Everything seemed fine, until the next day. The car only made it one block....

its a possibility that the tranny filter is plugged up, and not pumping any fluid to rest of tranny. thats why it is still cold, it just sits there. or the pump itself is bad. change fluid and filter first to find out.
