Question about 2003 Buick Century

Open Question

I have a 2003 Buick Century. On each side of the roof there is (or in my case, was) a trim piece that sits in a channel and is attached to the bottom of the channel with what is essentially a double sided tape. After nearly 8 years, the tape adheshive is letting go. One of the trim pieces came off while drivin down the interstate and has been lost. While I am sure that the solution for the one that remains is to remove the piece and replace the tape. (I got some at a local auto parts store), I want to get a replacement for the one that is lost. I am just not sure what it is called (desirable for searching on the web) or where best to get the replacement.

SOURCE: On the bottom outside of my windows there a trim

If this is the rubber piece that wipes the window when you roll it up and down, your best bet is to just take it to any automotive glass shop and have it replaced. It dosn't cost that much compared to replacing the glass if you brake it.

SOURCE: How do I replace broken 2002 buick century passenger side mirror?

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

How do I remove the door panel of a 2011 Buick Regal, driver's side door?

Step by step instructions follow with pictures.

Using a plastic trim tool, remove the aluminum piece on the door handle and the two bolts underneath. (T15 I believe.)
: Using same trim tool, remove the plastic trim behind door handle and remove screw using same T15 as before.
Step 3: Same trim tool again, remove the door panel, bottom to top and lift off of the window channel. Watch for the metal clips to fall. Some will. Two go on the door panel and two go on the door itself.

I need help removing the front driver side door panel. I've removed the screws and the triangle piece, but I still need help with the panel. Thanks Rach

Once you have removed the door handle and all the trim try wedging a flat chisel between the panel and the door at the lower corners. Work your way around, from the bottom to the top and pop out the plastic clips. Then once the panel is free, it should pop up at the window seal.

Water in passenger footwell of ford mondeo zetec 2001.

I had the same problem. Take note of black plastic trim piece that runs along the bottom of the windshield. On the passenger side there is a pan type attachment to this piece of trim; it can become detached from the trim. In this case it needs to be positioned under the lower lip of the windshield.
