Might try this. Your engine does what the ecm tell it to do. if you replaced everything you might reset yur ecm by turning the key to on position then disconnect positive battery cable wait about 30 sec. then replace. this will reset your ecm and possably help the problem, Good luck.

My 97 Thunderbird is rough idling. I cleaned the bank 1 02 sensor and it still has a rough idle. I can floor it and the idle goes away.

You don't clean O2 sensors , if bad you replace them . An only if there is a DTC - diagnostic trouble code or you check out O2 sensor performance with testing , using scan tool , lab scope or multimeter . A rough idle is usaully caused by a vacuum leak , a engine misfire , IAC - idle air control air passages clogged . There are videos on youtube on how to test to find rough running problems .

Check engine light is on...have replaced plugs, plug wires, massive airflow sensor, air filter, fuel filter, pulled fuel pump...seems to be ok...can still feel slight hesitation while accelerating thru...

Some check engine lights need to be reset by the OBD-II code reader. It's also possible that you've solved 98% of your problem but there's still 1 problem left (possible clogged fuel injector?) that's pulling a different error code. (possibly P0301-P0312 misfire or P0262-P0295 injector)

Best bet is to go to 1 of the auto parts chain stores that provide free diagnostic tests. If it's just a lingering old error code it will be reset or if it's something new, you'll know exactly what the issue is.

If it's still reading 02 sensors and you replaced them AND assuming you cleared codes I suspect bad cat, converters, The 02 sensors when everything is operating properly, the front 02 sensors read different from rear ones - if they read the same, you get code/light. Plus with your description sounds like bad converter(s)

I have a 04 f150 with the 5.4 check engine light is on and it read o2 sensor changed twice still read same problem

you have to figure out what is causing the 02 to activate the light, lean or rich exhaust emissions? what its saying is the sensor is working and it has detected a bad emissions or fuel mix in the exhaust, it is not telling you the 02 is bad, thats what the sensors do they detect faults with temps, knocks, emissions, timing, crank position, fuel air mix, throttle position. so the 02 is detecting something and that something is what needs to be found.

I have a F-150 Ford Truck that has a VAF sensor problem. How do I fix it.

A 2002 F-150 with a Vane airflow sensor ?
Are you sure, this does not sound correct, the '02 should be a MAFS ( Mass Air Flow Sensor ).

What sensors are involved when my gas is running lean and/or heavy?

maf, 02, computer, vacuum leaks, coolant and air temp sensors. Generally when nothing can be found wrong thru a professional diagnostic approach and the 02 has over 50,000 miles on it we recommend replacing the upstream 02 senor. But first one needs a diagnostic data scanner to make sure all the other sensors are within parameters.

You really need to start with basic troubleshooting. Is there spark to the spark plugs? Do you hear the fuel pump prime during initial Key On & during Engine Cranking?

Why did you change the MAF (mass airflow sensor)?
