Question about 1997 Toyota Camry

Just changed the oil it ran fine for 30 mins. then started losing power .parked it checked it the next day all the oil was on the ground checked all obvious things . no cracks plugs n pan . used diff oil filter is all i did diff

Sometimes the old oil ring from filter stays stuck , i suggest you take oil filter down and make sure that the old ring is not stuck up there good luck

I wouldn't think catalytic converter, without it giving some indication that it was going bad, but without testing it is hard to say.
When it cranks and won't start, check for battery voltage to the coil on the dark green wire, with key ON. If you have power at the coil, it might be a bad coil. If no power to the coil, it could be a Crank Position Sensor or the Cam Position Sensor inside the distributor. If one of those is bad, it can stop the computer from sending power to the coil.

89 K5 Blazer 350 TBI cranks but won't start... the rad hose blew, i fixed it then the next day it bogged and backfired, ran fine cold, but when warmed up it would lose power and stall when trying


Have you checked Google I found this hopefully it's not your timing or it may be flooded but doubtful have you tried spraying starting fluid into the intake while cranking it

chec ur ignition switch its in the stearing colum-also the harness wiring could be ageing-that resister i think has to do with the fusable link on ur battry responsible for starting-inspec distributer cap also-

75 Stingray stalled while driving


Sounds like the ICM is going bad.(Unless for some weird reason you have points)It is locate inside the distributor.

I had the same problem on my firebird after it was parked for 3 months,the heat grease just broke down and allowed it to over heat.

You should also check the fuel screen on the fuel inlet.
