Question about 1992 Honda Civic
Drive in D4, the rest of the gears are just lower ratio gears that give you more power but less speed. if she is only doing regular driving nothing special I can not think of a reason to use any of the other gears. and yes severe engine damage can result from trying to go to fast in any of the lower gears.
