First check the supply from fuel pump, most probably the fuel pump problem disconnected or filter ,if not check electrically spark plugs by removing one and turn engine if spark come on so no problem electrically.

you meant NO CRANK RIGHT? ill pretend yes.
2.5L stick shifted.
no, there is only a clutch pedal switch.

if you use a voltmeter this is easy.
but that is last. not first.
Head lights work , bright,
battery terms clean
does hotwiring the starter solenoid crank the crank shaft fast?
yes, then the starter works and key line is dead.
no, then the starter is bad, (assumes battery good and charged)

1st ,first is jumper cable starts. does that crank engine?
off a running donor car. AAA tow truck style.

Busted oil pan now can wont start tryed cranking to start

Did you replace the oil pan? many new cars have an oil level sensor and will not start if they read low oil so as to prevent the motor from seizing from too much heat and friction/wear.

Ford 250 1983 diesel/new starter, battery..no crank/squealing noise

can you turn the engine by hand by putting a socket on the crank nut. ? also is the battery working correctly ?
check the earth and live lines check they have a good connection. when you replaced the starter motor did you check the condition of the flywheel and warn cogs can be a problem also some flywheels used to be none fixed. meaning they were heated on to the flywheel .and if its loose it will just slip on the flywheel.

My 99 expedetion has had a new battery, used alternator replaced but still acts like it doesnt want to hold the conneciton. I have disconnected the battery cable, waited and reconnected and it will run for...

ther clicking is low voltage, you need to buy a cheap volt meter and check the alternator when the rig runs...14.54v is what it takes to charge a battery, if that does not answer your question try changing relay for rely in the engine compartment...many have the same number and interchange. Check all the grounds from the battery and if all that does no good check the starter, thats all it can be.

I turn the key and I hear a click from the engine compartment. This has happened before and I checked the relay fuse and it was okay but then it mysteriously started. This time I did the same thing and...

That would be your starter. More than likely the bushings went bad. The click is the gear from the starter popping out to crank the engine, but ther is not enough power to turn it. If it is a real hard click. Then it is probably starter. If it is very faint it could be a battery or solenoid problem. The solenoid is located attached to the starter. Since you have to remove starter to replace solenoid, I would take it to the parts store and have it tested so you know for sure before you buy unneeded parts

Car wont start wont even crank

Make sure your battery is fully charged. If the battery is fully charged make sure your starter is engaging, or trying to start the van. If it just clicks or sounds like it is spinning really fast have your starter checked. You can remove it and most auto parts stores will check it for free or mechanic shops might charge a small fee to do it. If the starter is trying to turn over the van and it won't crank you may have bigger problems. If the starter won't turn over the engine you can check it yourself by trying to turn over ther engine by hand. You will need to remove the spark plugs and turn it by putting a socket and ratchet on the harmonic balancer retaining nut and turning that. If the engine won't turn or is very difficult to turn with the spark plugs removed then you could have internal damage. You'll have to decide at that point wether it's something you want to do or get professional help. Gl

Moved my rx8 yesterday.i got ack in it this

verify condition by spraying some starter fuel in it.it should start and die if its a fuel problem.
if it still does nothing start checking any and all fuses.if all the fuses are good take out a spark plug and verify no spark.
if no spark check the ignition module.
it might be able to have it checked at autozone for free.but you will have to remove it.

Car won't start after sitting parked for over a year

hi! there,
even how new your battery was, there some other component cars have in starting your car, battery is just one factor
the ignition system need to check for proper maintenance.since most of them now are elctronically system.this where starting came when you turn your key the current flow mostly in ignition system until your spark plug ignite and produce combustion upon cranking your engine if all are in full condition your engine run,in your case ther are some faulty part and wiring needed to check.
try to clean your ignition coil some impurities block current flow.
check your ignition module most terminals acid may jump current flowing, check all cables that connect distributor to spark plug replace faulty cable, spurk plug clean contact point of spark plug if necessary replace, tighten connection of your starter motor couple to your fly wheel maybe theres a loosen connection, internally spark plug becoming wet had hard the current flow due to leak on rocker arm valve seat, oil is leaking check this out,if all are quite ok
star your engine.regards and have a nice day
