Question about 1994 GMC Jimmy

1 Answer

I have a 1994 GMC Jimmy SLE. I know nothing about vehicles. My blower quit working, but then started working again. Then it quit again. Could it be a fuse and where are the fuses located on the jimmy? Thank you.

Oil capacity for a 1994 GMC Jimmy SLE

this engine takes about 5 quarts with filter after a hot drain, add 4 quarts and then run and top off, remember to fill the oil filter up before installing to prevent "dry" start up, u can use 5W-30 or 10W-30, either will work, in summer or hot climates use 10W-30, never use a heavier oil.

1997 GMC Jimmy 4x4 SLE

You may have a combination problem. Your system uses electrical/vacumn. The ducts are operated by vacumn being directed to different hoses by the electrical switch. If you can get to one of the hose with the engine running, pull one off of its ports and check for vacumn.
